Livestock dealer payment defaults can be devastating to auction markets and producers.  In fact, in 2010 the United States’ largest livestock dealer at the time, Eastern Livestock, was forced into bankruptcy, owing roughly $112 million to creditors, including hundreds of producers and other dealers and markets.
