The federal grazing fee has been lowered to the long-established minimum of $1.35 per animal unit month (AUM) for Bureau of Land Management grazing permits and $1.35 per head month (HM) for USDA Forest Service Allotments.  (An AUM or HM is the use of public lands by one cow and her calf, one horse, or five
