Individual States Rally to Reinstate COOL

Montana House and Senate Agriculture Committees each tabled a bill regarding Country of Origin Labeling (COOL) requirements in the state.  Senate Bill 206, introduced by Senator Al Olszewski, (R-Kalispell), and it’s partner legislation, House Bill 594 sponsored by Representative Bradley Hamlett, (D-Cascade) would have required retailers to display placards at meat counters sorting pork and beef into one
